In a move that saw hospitality operator Montpeliers Edinburgh pivot even further away from traditional ‘style bars’ towards a more contemporary kind of venue, we were brought on board to lead the creative direction and website design for Rabble, a ‘taproom and grill’ with ten bedrooms.

Taking a cue from the name Rabble, we created a playful yet considered identity that uses typography to dramatic effect. The unique letterforms are interchangeable in scale, width and weight giving the identity a more eclectic feel.

This identity feeds neatly into the Rabble website itself, which features commissioned photography of the venue, while integrated table and hotel room booking functionality add some substance to all the style.
