Taste Ayrshire is comprised of a consortium of the top hospitality businesses in Ayrshire, focused on promoting Food Tourism in the region. Following a competitive pitch, Touch was selected to create the brand identity for the newly formed organisation.
Given the diverse backgrounds of the Taste Ayrshire members – ranging from cheese producers to five star hoteliers, the identity and marketing material had to have a fairly broad appeal but still needed to feel fresh and inviting for potential visitors. Our solution was to create a simple word marque, supported by vibrant imagery of local producers and suppliers, and playful copy exclaiming that 'there must be something in the Ayrshire'. This creative direction was then applied to an expansive directory website, corporate stationery and printed collateral.
