Blythswood Square
The Townhouse Company owns a number of luxury hotels in Scotland, the newest opening being Blythswood Square in Glasgow. We were appointed following a competitive pitch to develop the brand identity for Blythswood Square, which was the former home of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club and the starting point for the 1955 Monte Carlo Rally. Taking influence from this rich history we developed a refined, yet suitably contemporary brand identity for the five star hotel, including art direction, illustration and advertising/copywriting.
Following the launch, Blythswood Square has generated an annual turnover of £6 million through the hotel, spa & restaurant. The company recently picked up three SLTN awards, including a lifetime achievement award for Townhouse Company Chairman, Peter Taylor.
